On
29th November, the Global Chinese Marriage Conference
kicked off with a bang when a group of esteemed
guests including Sr. Pastor Edmound Teo of ICA,
Mr. & Mrs. Hugo Chan and Sila and Nicky Lee
jointly performed the red ribbon cutting ceremony
with traditional Chinese wedding song in the background.
Sila and Nicky, Founders and Speakers of the Conference,
were also presented with traditional Chinese costumes
which added a Chinese flavor to the Conference.
Nicky
and Sila Lee flew in from London to speak on the
concept, practicality, design and their own experiences
on the two courses. A few couples also gave glowing
reports and testimonies to the impact of attending
the courses. The Conference ended by Nicky and
Sila praying for the delegates to receive new
vision and by strengthening their own marriage
to then bless their community through the running
of the Marriage Course and the Marriage Preparation
Course.
Post
Conference
This is the first time the Conference was held
in HK with over 600 delegates from China, Taiwan
Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand and Hong
Kong attended. The following are some of the sharing:
